Man, I hate to hear this. And honestly, even though I asked for an update, I think I’ve been secretly dreading this post, worried the news might be about as you described.

I don’t really know what to say, probably like everyone else, but this totally sucks.

And I’m just glad God has opened your eyes to His Wisdom and His Redemption. And that you have that peace and security as you take each day’s steps.

Our lives are like a mist, here today and gone tomorrow. Thank the Lord that He has saved us and promised us a better tomorrow, no matter when that date arrives.

Thank you Tom,

Live long and prosper

I am 78 and autistic. I remember reading Shakespeare and soiling my diapers 75 years ago. I remember when my oncologist said I didn't need to make plans for 2011. I grew up in Montreal and Leonard Cohen led the county band at Westmont High School. Westmont High School was English Protestant when Leonard and Kamala attended.

Quebec is 85% Roman Catholic and English speaking non Roman Catholics had the best schools in the America's in Montreal and still do. We had challenging curricula and the best facilities and teachers taxpayer's money could buy so we could prepare for better futures. Leonard sang the songs of Woody Guthrie.

I didn't need to go for an annual cystoscopy in 2025 my oncological surgeon was on maternity leave in 2024 and her replacement told me I wasn't going to die from that malignancy and I am grateful waking up morning noon or night. Life is good and we are only passing through.
